AnrakConductor — a legal AI you can watch think

On a hard question, a panel of four independent AI jurists — Athena, Vikram, Themis, and Chanakya — draft in parallel. A senior-partner aggregator consolidates them, and a three-cop verifier cross-examines the result against the live legal corpus. The whole exchange is visible. No black box.

Live playground

Runs against your signed-in account (enable AnrakConductor in Labs first). Ask an Indian-law question and watch the jurists deliberate. (Heavier than a normal chat — the full panel takes a few seconds.)

How it compares to Sakana Fugu

Fugu pioneered orchestration-as-a-model. Everywhere it optimises a blind or learned proxy, we substitute grounded truth — real citation checks against Indian case law and statutes.

Model selectionLearned bandit routes per nodeRoutes by tier + legal category — solo → best-2 → full panel. Only fans out when needed.
Learned routingRL against a blind rewardLearns which jurist is best per category from a GROUNDED reward — real citation checks, not a verifier's guess.
Inference-time searchAB-MCTS over a blind scorerConsolidate → verify vs the retrieved authorities → go deeper to fix flagged citations → re-verify.

One endpoint. Send your API key as a bearer token. Server-Sent Events stream the same glass-box events you see above; pass "stream": false for a single JSON summary.

Streaming (Server-Sent Events)
curl -N -X POST https://anrak.legal/api/v1/orchestrator \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer ANRAK-xxxxx" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"message":"Can a Section 138 NI Act complaint be quashed if the debt is time-barred?","mode":"router"}'
Non-streaming (JSON)
curl -X POST https://anrak.legal/api/v1/orchestrator \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer ANRAK-xxxxx" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"message":"Draft an NDA governed by Indian law.","stream":false}'

Request

  • message — required. The legal question.
  • mode — optional: router (adaptive, default), always (full panel), deep (grounded tree search; Professional+), or single.
  • stream — optional boolean, default true.

Stream events (v2 vocabulary)

  • candidate — One per jurist as it drafts — includes a grounded score (0–100, citations checked against retrieved authority) and a winner flag.
  • aggregation — How the drafts were consolidated (merge strategy, draft count, metering marker).
  • reasoning_step — Actor-tagged steps — planner, jurists, and the verifier cops' cross-examination.
  • verification — The 3-cop verifier verdict: clean / issues_found (with flagged claims) / unavailable — plus the structured `conversation` cop thread.
  • content_delta — Streamed text of the final consolidated answer (citation markers pre-stripped).
  • citations — The final frame carries the resolved citation table + the source manifest for the answer.
  • source — One per authority retrieved during research (cases, statutes, global, web).
  • complete — Terminal event with total duration.
