AnrakConductor: Long
anrak-conductor-longanrak/conductor-longSubmit the work once, close the client, and poll the task URL. A planner splits the request into sections; each section runs its own four-researcher checkpoint, requires at least three contributors to agree before it is accepted, and is withheld unless the verifier panel passes it. Completed sections are never regenerated, so a long memo or draft builds forward instead of restarting. This is the id for work measured in minutes, not seconds.
The Panel
Four independent jurists draft the same question in parallel. They are deliberately different model families, so their errors are largely independent — the condition under which fan-out plus aggregation actually beats one strong model.
| Jurist | Lens | What it contributes |
|---|---|---|
| Athena | All-round legal drafter | Decomposes the question and covers every sub-issue methodically. Usually the most complete draft. |
| Vikram | Frontier reasoner | Pushes maximum depth on the hardest part of the problem. The rollout engine for deep search. |
| Themis | Deep reasoning specialist | Careful step-by-step chains that flag their own uncertainty rather than leaping to a conclusion. |
| Chanakya | Indian-law native | Trained closest to Indian legal language and drafting convention; on the pure family, the practical-implications lens. |
Pricing
Billed per section, not per task. The planner splits your request into 3–40 sections and each one runs ~8 underlying model calls plus live legal research under a three-contributor quorum. A short answer costs a few sections; a full memo costs many. The task response reports the count.
Estimate a month
Sections per month to anrak-conductor-long.
- Per section
- ₹53.63
- Per month
- ₹42,904
- Per 8-section task
- ₹429
Comparing against a per-token model?
On a reference request (2,000 tokens in, 2,000 out) this price works out to an effective $60.94 / $243.77 per 1M tokens.
That number looks high next to a raw frontier model, and it should: a raw model bills you for one call, while this id bills for 8 plus retrieval and a verification pass. We publish the comparison rather than hide it — but we bill per request, so a long answer does not cost you more.
Verification
Three-cop verifier panel
A Citation Cop, a Logic Cop and a Statute Cop cross-examine the consolidated answer against the authorities that were actually retrieved. Flagged fabrications are corrected before the answer returns; if the panel cannot reach quorum, the answer is withheld rather than shipped unverified.
The verdict rides on every response as anrak.verify, the drafts and their grounded scores as anrak.orchestration, and the ordered trace as anrak.reasoning. When streaming, the same narration arrives live as delta.reasoning_content.
Quickstart
Durable tasks are not OpenAI-shaped — POST returns 202 with a task id, and you poll for the result.
# 1. Submit — returns 202 immediately.
curl -X POST https://anrak.legal/api/v1/orchestra/tasks \
-H "Authorization: Bearer ANRAK-xxxxx" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"model": "anrak-conductor-long",
"kind": "long_draft",
"messages": [{"role":"user","content":"Draft a research memo on the enforceability of click-wrap arbitration clauses in India."}]
}'
# → {"task_id":"tsk_...","status":"queued","poll":"/api/v1/orchestra/tasks/tsk_..."}
# 2. Poll until status is "completed".
curl https://anrak.legal/api/v1/orchestra/tasks/tsk_... \
-H "Authorization: Bearer ANRAK-xxxxx"
# → {"status":"completed","sections":12,"billing":{"sections":12,"price":"₹643.56"}, ...}Billing follows the section count in the response — 12 sections at ₹53.63 each in the example above.
Limits and trade-offs
- Asynchronous only. POST returns 202 with a task id; the answer arrives by polling, not on the response.
- Billed per SECTION, not per task — a 40-section draft costs roughly 13x a 3-section one. The task response reports its section count.
- Professional plan or above, and the key needs the Indian case law permission.
Best for
- • Research memos, opposition briefs, and precedent surveys
- • Long drafts that must stay internally consistent across many sections
- • Batch and overnight work where latency does not matter
