Effective Date: February 23, 2026

Last Updated: February 23, 2026

These Terms apply in the United States. For India, see the India Terms of Service. See also our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.

NOTE: This is an assistive and research drafting aid, not legal advice.

Required Affirmative Assent

By checking “I Agree” and accessing this Website, you acknowledge and agree that you:

  • have had the opportunity to review, and you expressly agree to be legally bound by, the Terms of Service, Disclaimers, and AI-Powered Arbitration provisions, including mandatory arbitration and class-action waivers, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You further acknowledge receipt of the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference for informational and notice purposes only and does not create contractual obligations except where expressly stated;
  • affirmatively consent to be legally bound by them;
  • acknowledge that these Terms include, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, mandatory arbitration, waivers of class, collective, and representative actions, limitations of liability, and lawful speech-protective provisions, each of which is intended to be severable and independently enforceable;
  • are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction or have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Any use of the Website by a person under eighteen (18) is unauthorized and in violation of these Terms.

IMPORTANT DISPUTE RESOLUTION NOTICE

By checking “I Agree” and accessing this Website, you also acknowledge and agree that:

  • All disputes must be resolved exclusively through the Website’s AI-Powered Dispute Resolution (“AIDR”) process, as described in the AIDR Section of the Website.
  • No court or jury trial is permitted, and class, collective, and representative actions are waived.
  • The AIDR process shall have exclusive authority, to the fullest extent permitted by the Federal Arbitration Act, to resolve all threshold and gateway issues, including but not limited to whether a claim is subject to, arises under, or is covered by this dispute resolution provision.
  • You must first complete a mandatory notice and 60-day cure period before initiating any dispute.

This agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act (9 U.S.C. §§ 1–16) and is legally binding.

☐ I have read and agree to the Terms of Service, Legal Disclaimer & User Agreement, including the agreement that all disputes—including threshold and enforceability issues—must be resolved exclusively through the Website’s AI-Powered Dispute Resolution process, and that I waive any right to a court, jury trial, or class action.

(Access to this Website is denied unless you affirmatively agree.)

1. Agreement to resolve disputes through AIDR

Except as provided below, you and Anrak Pte. Ltd. agree to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to your access to or use of the Website, the services, or this agreement exclusively through the Website's AI-Powered Dispute Resolution process ("AIDR").

AIDR will be administered under the procedures stated in the AIDR Rules, available at adr.anrak.legal. Those rules are incorporated into this agreement. If this agreement conflicts with the AIDR Rules, this agreement controls.

AIDR uses artificial intelligence tools to assist in organizing submissions and analyzing disputes. AIDR does not make the final decision. Each dispute will be decided by an independent and impartial human arbitrator. The arbitrator will consider the parties' submissions and applicable law, make the final decision independently, and may accept or reject any AI-generated analysis or recommendation. The arbitrator's written decision will state the outcome and the principal reasons for it.

The AIDR Rules must identify the process for selecting the arbitrator, the procedures for presenting evidence and arguments, applicable fees and cost allocation, available remedies, and the procedure for issuing and challenging an award. The human arbitrator, not the AI system, will decide the merits of the dispute and any issue delegated under Section 2.

2. Delegation of certain questions

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and Anrak Pte. Ltd. clearly and unmistakably agree to delegate to the human arbitrator the exclusive authority to decide disputes concerning the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this Dispute Resolution Agreement, including whether a particular dispute is covered by it.

This delegation does not authorize the arbitrator or AIDR to decide whether you and Anrak Pte. Ltd. formed an agreement to arbitrate in the first place. Any dispute concerning whether this agreement was formed must be decided by a court of competent jurisdiction.

3. No class, collective, or representative proceedings

Disputes must be brought and decided on an individual basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and Anrak Pte. Ltd. waive the right to bring, participate in, or recover relief through a class, collective, or representative action in AIDR or in court.

The arbitrator may award relief only for the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to resolve that individual party's claim. If a court finally determines that any portion of this waiver is unenforceable, that portion will be severed, and any claim that cannot lawfully be resolved on an individual basis will proceed in a court of competent jurisdiction, subject to the remaining enforceable terms of this agreement.

This limitation also applies to New York and New York users to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Website
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of third-party rights

Defamation Notice, Mandatory Pre-Suit Cure, Arbitration & Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, no claim for defamation, false light, trade libel, reputational harm, or other speech-based injury may be asserted against the Website or the Company unless the claimant first complies with the following mandatory pre-suit notice and cure procedure, which is a condition precedent to arbitration or litigation.

Written Retraction or Correction Demand

As a condition precedent to any claim, a claimant must submit a written retraction or correction demand identifying with specificity:

  • The specific statement(s) alleged to be false or defamatory;
  • The factual basis for the alleged falsity;
  • The precise correction, clarification, or retraction requested; and
  • Supporting documentation sufficient to substantiate the claim of falsity.

Method of Notice

All notices required under these Terms, including pre-suit notices for disputes, must be submitted in writing to admin@anrak.legal. Notice by email shall be deemed effective upon transmission, provided no bounce-back or delivery failure notice is received.

Mandatory Investigation and Cure Period

The claimant must allow the Company sixty (60) days from receipt of the notice to investigate the matter and, in its sole discretion, respond, correct, clarify, contextualize, retract, or decline to modify the challenged content.

Strict compliance with this mandatory pre-suit notice and cure procedure is a condition precedent to any defamation-based claim, and failure to comply constitutes, to the fullest extent permitted by law, a waiver of such claim and a bar to recovery of presumed, statutory, or punitive damages where legally permissible.

No arbitration or litigation may be initiated until the expiration of the sixty-day cure period. During this period, the Company may attempt in good faith to resolve or remedy the asserted claim without admission of liability.

Arbitration as the Exclusive Remedy

If the dispute is not resolved within the sixty-day cure period, any and all disputes or claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to the Website, its content, or these Terms shall be resolved exclusively through AI-Powered Dispute Resolution ("AIDR") as described through the AIDR process and in accordance with its applicable rules as described in the AIDR section of this Website (adr.anrak.legal), which is expressly incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You acknowledge, expressly agree to be bound by, and consent to the AIDR process having exclusive authority to resolve all threshold and gateway issues including but not limited to:

  • The interpretation, applicability, scope, validity, enforceability, or formation of these Terms;
  • Whether any claim is subject to or barred by this dispute resolution provision;
  • Compliance with or satisfaction of any pre-suit notice, cure, or procedural requirements; and
  • Any defenses to arbitrability or dispute-resolution eligibility.
  • Procedures
  • Timelines
  • Decision-making authority, and finality provisions

in lieu of arbitration administered by any external forum or organization.

No court or other tribunal shall have authority to decide such issues except to the limited extent required to enforce the outcome of the AI-Powered Dispute Resolution ("AIDR") process.

Except as expressly prohibited by applicable law or as provided in the AIDR section, the outcome of the AIDR process shall be final and binding, and non-appealable, and you agree not to pursue litigation or any alternative dispute resolution process outside the AIDR process.

This dispute resolution provision is made pursuant to and shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act (9 U.S.C. §§ 1–16), which shall apply to the interpretation, enforcement, and proceedings arising under this provision, notwithstanding any choice-of-law provision to the contrary.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this provision supersedes any state law that would otherwise limit or invalidate the enforceability of this exclusive dispute resolution agreement.

No arbitration or litigation may be initiated until the expiration of the sixty-day cure period.

Class-Action and Representative Action Waiver

You agree that all claims must be brought in an individual capacity only. You expressly waive any right to participate in:

  • Class actions
  • Collective actions
  • Private attorney-general actions
  • Representative proceedings of any kind

The arbitrator shall have no authority to consolidate claims or award relief to anyone other than the individual claimant.

Effect of Non-Compliance

Failure to strictly comply with the pre-suit notice and cure requirements constitutes a material breach of these Terms, a complete waiver of the claim to the maximum extent permitted by law, and bars recovery of damages, including presumed, statutory, or punitive damages where legally permissible.

Good-Faith Resolution

During the sixty-day cure period, the Company may attempt in good faith to resolve or remedy the asserted claim without admission of liability, and any corrective action shall not be construed as an admission of wrongdoing.

Anti-SLAPP Provision

The Website engages in speech on matters of public interest.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that:

  • Any claim arising from or relating to the Website's speech shall be subject to applicable anti-SLAPP statutes.
  • The Company reserves the right to seek early dismissal, attorneys' fees, and costs where permitted under anti-SLAPP laws.
  • This provision is intended to protect lawful speech and petitioning activity.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and, to the extent state law applies, the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

If arbitration is deemed unenforceable, exclusive jurisdiction shall lie in the state or federal courts located in New York.

Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time without notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in effect.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company.

Additional Terms for the AnrakLegal Services

These additional terms apply to the AnrakLegal platform, including its applications, API, MCP connectors and Microsoft Word Add-in (the "Services"), and form part of the Terms of Service above. If they conflict with the Terms above, the Terms above control, except that an order form, quote or invoice issued by us (an "Order") controls the plan, seats, term and fees it sets out.

A. Accounts

  • Each seat is for one named user. Credentials and seats may not be shared, including within a firm or organization.
  • You must provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials secure, and notify us promptly at info@anrak.io of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account. If an organization administers your account, it may access and manage the account and its content.

B. The Services

The Services provide AI-assisted legal research across federal and state sources, drafting, document and contract review, matter management, transcription, workflows, a Microsoft Word Add-in, an API, and MCP connectors. Features may vary by plan and by jurisdiction, and we may add, change, or discontinue features.

C. Professional Responsibility and AI Output

If you are a licensed attorney, you remain solely responsible for your professional judgment and for compliance with the rules of professional conduct that apply to you, including your duties of competence (including technology competence), confidentiality of client information, and supervision of nonlawyer assistance. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying every citation, quotation, and output before relying on it or filing it with any court or agency, including your obligations under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 11 and its state equivalents.

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and may not reflect the law of your state or recent developments. A case result that is not marked as citator-checked has not been verified as good law. An empty or limited search result is not proof that no relevant authority exists.

D. Orders, Fees, and Payment

  • Our current United States plans and their monthly prices are published on our Pricing page. Your plan, seats, term, and fees are confirmed in an Order when our team sets up your account. AI work performed for you is billed separately by usage, from a prepaid balance, at the rates shown when your account is set up or in your Order.
  • Fees are quoted and payable in US dollars (USD) and are due as stated in the Order or invoice. Fees exclude sales, use, value-added, and similar taxes, which you are responsible for except taxes on our net income; where we are required to collect a tax, it will be shown on the invoice.
  • Except as required by law, fees are non-refundable. Please raise billing errors with info@anrak.io within thirty (30) days of the invoice. We may suspend access for undisputed amounts that remain unpaid more than fifteen (15) days after notice.
  • If your Order states that it renews automatically, it renews for the same term at our then-current rates unless you cancel before the renewal date. For terms of one year or longer, we will send you a reminder between fifteen (15) and forty-five (45) days before renewal. You may cancel renewal at any time in your account settings or by emailing info@anrak.io; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term.
  • We will give you at least thirty (30) days' notice before a price change applies to you; it takes effect at your next renewal, and you may cancel before then.

E. Acceptable Use of the Services

In addition to the User Conduct terms above, you agree not to:

  • upload content you do not have the right to upload, or malware or other harmful code;
  • use the Services to engage in the unauthorized practice of law or to mislead any court, agency, or person;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without our written permission, or exceed rate or usage limits;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or model weights, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • scrape, bulk-download, or resell the Services or their data, or use them to build a competing product;
  • share seats or credentials, or circumvent plan or access restrictions.

F. Your Content

You retain all rights in the documents, data and other material you upload or create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the Services for you. You represent that you have the rights and consents needed to upload it, including any client information.

We do not use Your Content to train or fine-tune third-party AI models. By default, personally identifiable information is redacted from case documents before they are processed by third-party models. See our Security page.

We and our licensors own the Services. If you send us feedback, we may use it without restriction or obligation to you.

G. Confidentiality and Security

We treat Your Content as confidential and use it only to provide the Services. We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect it, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls. We may disclose Your Content if required by law or valid legal process; where lawful, we will notify you first so you can seek protection.

H. API, Connectors, Word Add-in and Third-Party Services

  • API keys and connector credentials are confidential and tied to your account. You are responsible for all usage under them and must rotate them if they are exposed. Usage is subject to rate limits, quotas, and the API documentation in effect from time to time.
  • When you connect the Services to a third-party AI system, application or service, content you send to it is governed by that provider's terms and privacy practices. We may disable an integration if a provider changes or withdraws it.
  • The Microsoft Word Add-in is also subject to Microsoft's terms for Office add-ins.

I. Suspension and Termination

  • You may stop using the Services at any time; fees for the current term remain payable unless the Order says otherwise.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, where needed to prevent harm, abuse, or legal violation, or if required by law.
  • Documents remain in your account until you delete them or the account is closed. You may export your documents and data in standard formats before closure. After deletion, copies may remain in backups for up to thirty (30) days.

J. Export Controls and Sanctions

You will comply with United States export control and economic sanctions laws, including the Export Administration Regulations and regulations administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). You may not use or access the Services from a country or region subject to comprehensive US embargo, or if you are, or act for, a person on a US government restricted-party list.
